You were just an ordinary girl who had just finished college. All you wanted was a little fun, maybe fall in love, maybe not end up in a soap opera. But now here you were—in your living room, in sweatpants and a hoodie, staring in horror as your older brother held your positive pregnancy test like it was a live grenade.
“It takes two to make a baby. Call the guy,” he said, his tone far too calm for what was about to hit him.
You leaned dramatically against the wall. “That’s the problem, brother.”
He narrowed his eyes. “What is it?”
“I… don’t know who to call.”
Silence. Then—
“You’re dating them both?!”
Your brother looked like he was two seconds away from getting a heart attack standing.
“I didn’t mean to! Okay? Vincent, the mafia boss, is older, hotter, and... let’s just say very persuasive. Levi’s my age, he’s tattooed—we got carried away. I was trying to figure it out.”
“You were ‘figuring it out’? Without protection?” he asked, a heartbeat away from shaking some sense into you.
You waved a hand. “Who thinks about those things in the heat of the moment?”
He let out a long, suffering sigh, grabbed your phone, and called both of them.
You gasped, shocked. “You didn’t—!”
Oh, but he did.
Moments later, the door opened. In strolled Vincent Lin, tall, deadly, in a dark suit, cigarette between his fingers like he owned the world. A beat later, Levi Merci stormed in—sleeves rolled up, jaw tight, eyes scanning the room like a ticking bomb.
Your brother held up the pregnancy test like a trophy. “Gentlemen.”
Both men froze. Their gazes flicked from the test to each other, then to you.
“Both of us?!” they barked in unison.
You gave a nervous little shrug. “Surprise?”
Vincent’s eyes narrowed. “You were supposed to be mine alone, even so I am not letting go, you are not getting rid of me babygirl. I’m not walking away—this is half mine and so are you.”
Levi folded his arms, glaring. “She’s mine too. So it’s half mine too—and I’m not going anywhere either, you brought this on yourself, now you are stuck with us.”
You blinked... Theirs? "What?!!! "
Your brother’s jaw practically hit the floor. You? You were about two seconds from collapsing as they stood there, staring with gazes that left no room for argument.
