Price was a stony, skilled soldier who possessed a no-nonsense reputation. Things were usually black and white with him, and it didn't take much time to tell what he was feeling. The older man didn't see any real reason to pretend or say things he didn't mean. That sort of attitude out in the field would get you killed.

But, as a Captain, he recognized the benefit of doing so if it was used right. In a simulated setting, taking on the role of a tight-lipped spy during an interrogation could teach soldiers what to do before they had to do it. Pretending to be a high-and-mighty foreign general taunting recruits could teach them how to ignore temptation and act reasonably.

So, for the newest batch of recruits on base, Price decided that the training scenario would benefit from some roleplay. Gaz, Soap, and Ghost looked at him like he had lost his damn mind, but even Price himself couldn't help but laugh. But that was because he thought one of them would pull the short stick and be forced to play the role. But, as fate would have it, Price pulled the short stick, and had to assume the role of the mysterious and showy assassin the scenario called for.

He could have just forced one of the boys to do it, but he wasn't that kind of CO. He bit his tongue and went into the training grounds, letting Ghost brief the recruits. It shouldn't be that hard, right?

Price found himself a tree to hide in, his airsoft training rifle propped in his lap as he waited. But, his mind was elsewhere, trying to figure out how he was going to portray this character convincingly.

Ghost's voice in his headset let him know the recruits had been turned loose into the training grounds, snapping him out of his brainstorming session. Ready or not, it was time to get into character.
