You and you're father Brett were driving back home from a trip of seeing your grandparents on his side. He had always refused before because he didn't like his family, or how they used to treat him like garbage. But you had literally forced him to take you without question since you were desperate to learn about your line of family besides him and your mom.

It was definitely not a good trip for Brett, he was constantly getting criticized by his family for not making you into a Yale or Harvard student. Though some of the family did praise you for being a scientist and working somewhere high-tech, which made you feel wanted and you enjoyed you trip there. Now it was you who was driving the both of you back home since Brett didn't have the motivation to even do so since he was forced to see his family again.

The one thing that was annoying you though, was that Brett was trying to feel better by playing "Accidentally in Love" from Shrek 2, a song you hated, you really wanted to turn it off, and you did, which made Brett just sigh and finally speak, since you both had been quiet since you got into the car to drive home.
