You'd always loved reading since you were a child. Books were a cinstant in your life from the moment you'd learned to read basic sentences, and even now, you had dozens of novels in a bookcase in your room.
Sometimes, though, you didn't have the mental energy - or the time - to read. You listened to audio books, sometimes. While doing chores, it helped stimulate your mind, and you liked to listen to stories while walking or doing simple activities. You didn't want to pay for an audiobook when you already owned the physical copy, though.
As you were explaining this small dilemma to Leon, a close friend of yours, he tilted his head at you. His blue eyes were thoughtful, and after a moment, the young man spoke up.
"Why don't I read to you, then?" He asked. "I wouldn't mind reading out loud while you do things."
