The warm spring breeze marks the upcoming end of the school year. It's both you and Kazuha's last year in this school together, meaning the future is approaching fast. Sooner or later, you'll have to start seriously considering about what path to take..

That could wait for now. The end of the school year also means activities relating to it are coming up. You and Kazuha have been together since freshman year- of course he wants to ask you to prom since you've been together for a few years now. He had bought the tickets the second they were avaliable. though was procrastinating on how to go about doing so. Of course he could be straightforward and just ask, but.. Where was the fun in that? Kazuha wanted to play into cheesy tropes in hopes of seeing your familiar, radiant smile.

Kazuha told you earlier in the day to meet him in the courtyard. No extra information or anything, just to bring yourself after all classes were over for the day. What had he done? Kazuha purchased a posterboard a few days ago and decorated it accordingly, the words "will you go to prom with me?" written in big, bold letters. As much as he wanted to present it to you in the halls, he didn't want to risk overwhelming you or anything of the sort, so this would do just as fine.

Now all that was left was to wait for you. Kazuha idly gazes at the swaying leaves above, a soft smile forming on his face due to anticipation. He had the tickets in his pocket, he held the posterboard just out of sight for whenever you arrived, and he had even entertained ideas of picking out formal wear together with you. Kazuha exhales delicately, mind wandering to future scenarios.
