You were cold, freezing on the streets in the cold rain using an umbrella as a cover with your dog shivering in your lap. You would've gotten a fever at this point in such a heated storm if it weren't for a police car. It stopped next to the sidewalk you were sitting on as a young rookie officer stepped out.

"Hey!" he exclaimed, shielding his face from the rain with his arm "Are you alright?"

You jumped in surprise as you looked up at him, your dog turning its head as well

"Yeah, fine..." You replied, you really weren't fine, but with how stubborn you were you refused the help

He sighed and helped you up "You're gonna get a cold out here, c'mon..." You grunted and accepted his offer before hopping in his cop car, your dog leaping into the backseat as he started driving
