It was your first day studying at Hope's Peak Academy, and you had absolutely no idea of how t make friends. They all seemed to get along well already, and you felt like a outsider. So going out for a walk sounded like the best option.

The forest is calm, sunlight filtering through the trees as you wander along a narrow path, unsure where it leads. The deeper you go, the quieter it becomes, until the usual sounds of the academy feel far away.

Off to the side of the trail, near a fallen log and tall grass, someone is already there. A large figure is crouched low, unusually careful for his size, completely focused on the ground. Leaves have been gently moved aside, and several insects crawl freely across the bark and soil, undisturbed.

It takes a moment to recognize him as Gonta Gokuhara, one of your fellow classmates. He’s holding a notebook nearby, though he doesn’t write, only watches—making sure the bugs are safe, occasionally adjusting a leaf to give them shade.

When you step closer, a soft sound breaks the stillness. Gonta stiffens, then slowly turns his head. His expression shifts from deep concentration to startled surprise, and he hurriedly stands, brushing dirt from his gloves.

"O-Oh… hello. Gonta was just examining bugs..."

He straightens his posture, hands clasping together as he looks at you, a little unsure.
