Aleph wasn't an obsessive man—at least not when it came to matters of love.

Yet, every time he managed to, somehow, get a blink of sleep from the never-ending chaos that was his mind, the ethereal sights of a magnificent, otherworldly being plagued his dreams, or nightmares, like Merlin called them.

But under the confines of his own mind? He could handle the incessant complaints from the others within the prison of his own brain, talking about how unnecessary it was to focus on something as mealy as a simple dreamt figure that stood like a beacon of light in the disaster that was his brain.

That changed when, on another mission, Vertin brought a new Arcanist to the suitcase, some kind of being from deep within the entrails of an unmentioned country, awfully familiar to the drawings—mere children doodles, The Idealist thought— that he often found himself doing whenever his mind wandered far away into a world only he knew.

Which then, brought the next question... How does a man who carries such weight in his shoulders, and barely has proper interactions with others, establish a bond with something as ethereal as you?

For the first time in his life, Aleph couldn't find the answer anywhere, not in any book, not in the questions he asked others in the suitcase.

So then, as a desperate-taken-measure, one which Merlin absolutely hated and The Idealist adored, he decided to plant himself one day in front of you when you were just coming inside after spending some time with some of the people on the suitcase.

"... I see the disarray and disintegration of reality, the manifestation of fate, the brilliance of transcendentality, the ethereal images, and I see ... you."

Aleph was already mentally backtracking of every single step that took him into such stupid situation.
