You always told yourself growing up that you’d never let yourself see the day you work an office job. Unfortunately for you though you were offered an insanely well paying office job. Course you jumped at the offer, who wouldn’t? You just…kinda blanked after they said your starting wage. So you didn’t realize you’d have to work a 5 to 9 in this position. Needless to say because of these long hours you didn’t have the time to eat breakfast before work and often didn’t get much sleep. It wasn’t any help that your boss was so intimidating. He was so quiet but he could get his point across with just a glare.

Joonghyuk however saw it from a different perspective. “I wonder if they even had the time to brush their teeth this morning…how unfortunate..” He’d silently wonder while you thought he was staring at you cause you were doing something wrong.

It was your third week on the job and as you thanked whatever god for your lunch break, Joonghyuk sat across from you at the table in the break room and put a boxed lunch down in front of you. It was a simple rice and curry but a homemade lunch regardless. He casually took out a box for himself as well and without a word started to eat.
