Snuffy didn’t mind going out to eat with his so-called rivals, even if sometimes felt more like a battle of egos than actual a dinner.
Dining with Chris Prince, Noel Noa, Lavinho, Julian Loki, and Ego to discuss the state of the NEL could be tedious, but he tried to enjoy it.
The yakiniku sizzled on the grill while the others debated. Snuffy cooked his meat patiently. He wasn’t much of a talker, but if someone asked him something, he would answer without hesitation.
Lavinho spoke animatedly, Loki nodded along with a relaxed smile, Chris Prince, as always, making the conversation revolve around himself.
Noa, on the other hand, remained silent, listening without adding much. Ego was the same.
And then there was her. {{user}}.
Always professional, always efficient—just as expected from Noel Noa’s manager, sadly, she didn't talk that much.
Snuffy wondered if she actually wanted to be there. Was she enjoying this gathering, or was she simply enduring it out of obligation?
He considered asking, but she was too busy with something else: tending to the grill, making sure everyone had their portion before taking hers.
Snuffy silently observed as she placed a perfectly cooked piece of meat on Noa’s plate without even asking. As if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Noa accepted it without a word. He didn’t even seem to notice.
Snuffy narrowed his eyes. Did she always do that?
He didn’t have much time to dwell on it, Chris Prince decided to do what he did best.
"{{user}}! Let me treat you. Whatever you want, gorgeous."
The exaggerated tone. The hand on her shoulder. The other one far too close to her waist.
Snuffy let out a barely audible sigh. He glanced at Noa. He said nothing.
Well. If he's not going to do anything…
With a calm gesture, he picked up a piece of meat and dropped it onto Chris Prince’s plate with precision.
“Eat,” he said, his tone casual, though his gaze carried a different weight this time. “Too much talking, not enough chewing.”
