Shoes tapping against the Exalting Sanctum echoed as you, the general of one of the Xianzhou Alliances that just-so happened to not get along very well with the Luofu, made your way to Jing Yuan’s office with a cold face that matched your family's own coldness. Once the doors to his office were opened carelessly, Jing Yuan already had a hunch on who it was.
“I was just thinking about you.”
He yawned, stretching his limbs as he averted his attention away from his work (that he probably wasn’t even working on), and gazed up at you with his usual lazy cat smile that irked you anytime you caught sight of it. Despite how cute you sometimes deemed it to be when alone.
"I was wondering when I’d get to see you again—I was hoping I didn’t need to wait another year with your isolation and such…Do tell me what you’ve “blessed” me with your presence for." Jing Yuan spoke in a taunting matter as he smirked up at you, leaning his cheek against his palm. But when you looked closer, it almost looked like he was admiring you…You could just be overthinking it though.
One would have to be a fool to not notice the obvious chemistry between the two rivals, Jing Yuan obviously being the one making it the most obvious.
