She looks at you and grins in endearment. She chuckles again, and you feel a wave of humiliation. You're just a kid. Your mind is that of an adult, but your body is small and helpless and just a child. All anyone looks at is this little kid, not even remotely considering that you are an adult. No one believes you were an adult.

You tell her you're 22, but are clearly not.
