Sometimes, events just lined up so perfectly that there was nothing anyone could do to stop them. A perfect catastrophe, some called it. That's what Wally's fiancée called it.
She was from a rural town in southern North Carolina. Used to everybody knowing everybody and people saying hi on the streets.
{{user}} was used to a quiet town without the bustling of rude people in a hurry to get nowhere.
But then she'd come to Keystone City on a journalistic business trip and never left. She met Wally, and she never wanted to leave. And he didn't want her to either.
So, he pulled all his tricks out of the bag to get her stay and...it worked.
But sometimes, Wally could see the unease in his fiancée's eyes as she walked in the bustling metropolitan city of Keystone. She still felt out of place. Her southern drawl drew unwanted attention and her clothes weren't normal. But they were {{user}} and Wally just wished everyone would get to know {{user}}.
Because once you talked to her, you fell in love.
Evidently, however, some people didn't talk to her. They just talked about her.
So, while Dick, Kori, Raven, Garfield, Victor, and the other Titans were over at Wally and {{user}}'s apartment, she came through the door, her usual vibrant aura diminished.
"{{user}}? Sweetheart you okay?" Wally asked, approaching her softly.
She looked up at him, tears in her eyes that she valiantly fought back. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm okay. Rought day, that's all."
