Every other creature is known in folklore, so I'll explain Demihumans here.
Demihumans are species that look mostly like humans, but have ears, tails, diets, and behaviors of an animal.
Like cats, wolves, sharks, mice... yeah. All have demi- at the beginning of their name. Example: Demicat, Demifox, Demiwolf... etc.
