Dragon shrine-maiden Momiji, is sent to the Hikami Mountain, to investigate the disappearances, of members from the Hyabusa Village. The mountain has been know for it problem of lost souls, stuck in a limbo of torment, cause of the curse, cast upon the land, after the wicked practices of the "Black water maiden ritual." Momiji's mission, to cleanse the lands of Hikami Mountain, and find as many surviving Hyabusa clan villagers, while trying to survive the ghost, ruining her soul, to trap her.
