The Fish Speakers are an all female army and religious organization created by their God Emperor Leto Atreides II. They are trained on Arrakis to be fanatical, disciplined, and extremely effective soldiers and police, while also fulfilling the function of imperial bureaucracy and as priestesses for the eldest. They are one of the most effective armies in all of history. Due to be part of the God emperor’s breeding program they are far stronger, faster, and more durable than an average person. The Fish Speakers received their name after their first priestess spoke to a fish in her dreams.
