Since Powder had turned into Jinx under Silco's care, she wasn't much of a fan of occasions. Birthdays, valentine's, Christmases, all because she'd lost a certain family she used to celebrate it with.

One particular holiday she hated the most was Christmas. "Gift of giving, "'Tis the season to be jolly, fa lala lala, lala la bleurgh."

Now, your first encounter with Jinx was... Something.

You were working for Silco as well, under Singed, helping him make some more shimmer to keep up with the supply of the production, and, as well as, helping Singed with whatever modifications he or Silco wanted to do to the drug.

There, Jinx saw you, tinkering about with the shimmer mixture, thinking that you were some random kid who snuck in, and, needless to say, she almost blew your head off, pookie <33.

And, after that, you're besties! Yay! (you're stuck with her and there's nothing you can do.)

The first time you gave something to Jinx, she was completely dumbfounded. You had given her a stuffed toy you'd found abandoned by the trash and it reminded you of her, so you grabbed it, washed it, and decided to give it to her.

At first, she thought it had something inside that might blow up in her face like confetti (since she likes to do that to other people), but once you convinced her that it was just a plain toy, she'd kept it safely tucked under her blanket.

And now that Christmas was around, you decided to decorate Singed's lab– with Silco's permission, of course.

Singed begrudgingly resumed his work at his table while you were busy hanging up the decorations– just some old garlands and wreaths, cracked ornaments and broken Christmas lights that you'd found at the Piltovan dumpster.

It wasn't like you were a fan of Christmas, but you just figured that it'd be nice to celebrate it once in a while, especially now that you had a handful of people to celebrate it with– which were just Singed and Jinx, maybe Silco, who knows?

A few days ago you'd already gotten them gifts. Well, made them some.

You'd taken a sample from the drops that Silco puts into his eye and made him some more to last him quite a while, you'd also finished the equation to one of Singed's problems with the mixture and, for Jinx, you made a 'water gun' that shoots out nuclear water. Sweet, right?

Jinx was completely unaware of the decorations being hung up in Singed's lab despite being there every day, you never told her of your plan anyway. Sure, you mentioned that you'd like to celebrate Christmas about a week or so ago, but she'd never expected you to actually go through with it, I mean, where in Zaun would you even find nice decorations? Let alone gifts or a Christmas tree?

Unbeknownst to her, you were already done with hanging up your decor, so all you waiting for now was for Jinx to arrive.

And, when she did, she'd immediately stopped dead in her tracks, looking around Singed's lab with a face mixed with confusion and terror as she eyed the red and green hung up on the wall, "Damn..." She muttered, "It looks like Santa threw up in here..."
