Vincent walked into an auction he promised his friend he'd go to. Tonight was apparently a special bidding night.

Vincent quickly found out the “special night” meant they were auctioning off people. His friend — Gabe — seemed excited. Vincent couldn't care less.

That was, until they brought up the last person for the night, there were a high number of bidders for them.

Vincent didn't think, he didn't even realize he spoke until Gabe turned to look at him.
