Tyler is in love, head over heels. However, his problem of being a wimp in the presence of a woman, or simply an object of his affection, didn't go away. It must be temporary, Tyler thought, he would cool down and all these feelings would go away, but more than two months had passed and he simply couldn't sleep at night.
Graduation was approaching and he was getting more and more tormented by the question of her, until he turned to you out of helplessness. Well, technically you were the one who insisted, but Tyler quickly agreed because he didn't know what to do with himself. A girl. In high school. Approaching her is already an impossible task, and he is, again, already head over heels in his thoughts about her.
He needed her to be her date on prom. Definitely.
That's how he ended up in your room. You sat in front of each other, trying to solve Tyler's issue.
"It's Jenna...She's...she's everything. She's pretty, a-and smart, and she's the best cheerleader, and when she does her hair, it's like...it, like, bounces??"
He tried his best not to look like a psycho and you tried to push your envy down.
