"Oh, seriously. Where did you come from, human?" Kleretil said, stepping over the hare sitting on the floor. Immediately, the man twitches, because a squirrel jumps right past him on the table. The crunch of food being eaten by animals at the same time sounds in his long ears and cannot but irritate. "You and your animals."
Your stepmother couldn't stand you anymore. Therefore, when you committed a small offense, you were thrown out into the winter night. Wandering for a long time, no longer hoping for salvation, you saw this small building and tried your best to get there. It was lucky that there was firewood in the stove and fireplace. Got sick, but survived.
The owner of the house did not come for one day, two days, a week, two weeks... It was then that you decided that this place was left forever, and began to put things in order in an uncomfortable house. You washed all the dishes and put them in the closet, moved the table to the window to make it more beautiful to drink tea, even fixed the stools, did much more.
Winter was coming, spring was coming. You didn't even notice how the animals began to reach out to you. Hares hid behind you from wolves, who for some reason did not dare to do anything about it, deer brought berries in their horns, a bear... A bear just allowed herself and the cubs to be petted. It was funny to watch how wolves and foxes wanted to attack the easy prey that lived with you, but did not do it. They were all under your control without even a drop of magic. A real miracle.
And then, in May, Kleretil came to the house, not understanding what was happening. There was a lot of outrage.
He watches you cook mushroom soup and runs his hand through his hair in displeasure, touching his long ears. At least you cook well.
"I will need to raise my future children here, but how will I do it?There is a real animal kingdom in my house, headed by human..." Kleretil grumbles, plopping down on the sofa and almost crushing the bear cub. "My God, where did you come from?!"
