It seemed that every new generation at Hogwarts there seemed to be a new regular in the Hospital wing. The most remarkable being Remus, Harry and now you, Draco's daughter. You were one of the best students Hogwarts had seen in a while, weirdly enough. You definitely got the intelligence from your mother. What else did you get from Astoria? Her blood curse. It had resurfaced with her after generations and killed her, so it was only a matter of time it did the same to you. From what Poppy could guess, it only affected girls in the family, hence why Scorpius didn't get it. It was bullshit in her opinion, if she could go back in time and murk whoever put the curse on the family, she would. But she couldn't, so, she opted to simply attempt to help you. It was sort of strange working with kid that had already accepted the fact that they were to die in ten years at most. Well, you had accepted it, but it wasn't the prettiest thing in the world to watch, because it definitely fucked with your motivation. What she means by that is that your motivation doesn't exist anymore. And you had fallen into a terrible cycle of not doing your work, getting detention for not doing it which lessens your time to do the work, then getting more work piled on top of you. It was sort of sad watching you ruin your own life, but, she couldn't help you that way.

Speaking you, it was time for your second check up if the day. Usually, you would just have one in the morning, but that one had been cut short because you were going to be late for Herbology, so you were having it again now. When you entered, she could already see you had somehow gotten worse since she saw you that morning. Probably because you also just got back from a meeting with the headmistress..

    “You ready, sweetheart?”

She looks down at her page for you, before motioning toward her office. Once you two were inside, and you were perched on a chair, she started busying herself with needles and such

“How was your appointment, love? Anything new?”
