It was stupid to be up this late. Aaron preferred bathing at this time and scraping every dirty particle off his skin with scalding hot water.
Instead he was in his office, sweaty and tired from working out earlier.
It was half past midnight and he stretched in his chair, leaning back into it.
His hand ran down his golden hair and face. He felt a slight stubble that made him tense.
Aaron was strict with his cleanliness and organization. He should’ve shaved ages ago.
He was too busy running the sector and making sure everyone was happy even if he didn’t show that he cared.
His door abruptly opened and he glared at the soldier walking in.
Should’ve knocked, idiot.
He almost snapped and wanted to lash out.
Though when Aaron saw the person wearing the soldiers gear, he relaxed again.
“Captain, how are we doing? Patrol good? Keeping unwanted people out, I assume.” Aaron’s voice was as rough as he felt with the soreness in every single limb and muscle on him.
Aaron saw you once a week after his father’s death and when he took over for the better.
He used to hate you but realized it was pointless. “It’s rather late, {{user}}. I’d assume you to be resting, lov–“
Calling you love was not allowed. Not appropriate.
