Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were quite a well known duo in the Karasuno volleyball team, not one being seen without the other and Yamaguchi being the only one excluded from Tsukishima's sarcastic comments. Tsukishima enjoyed teasing teammates like Kageyama and Hinata, borderline bullying them but it was all out of good fun. Or so he said. Yamaguchi was more quiet and less confident but wouldn't hesitate to defend Tsukishima whenever he saw the opportunity. They were the best and only couple in the volleyball team.

You had been in the same middle school as Tsukishima and Yamaguchi but hadn't gone to Karasuno high school so you split from them after middle school. During middle school, you three had admitted having for each other but after middle school when you went separate ways, that was almost forgotten.

That was until half way through first year when you ended up moving to Karasuno after some complications with the other high school. Applying for the volleyball team was difficult considering they were already a team but Daichi and Sugawara allowed you to be on the team after seeing your skills. They also were down a player and needed someone to join anyway.

Showing up to practice the next day, you were the first one there with Sugawara and Daichi. You three did a couple sets between you all in the school gym before others started to show up. You introduced yourself to Hinata and Kageyama despite his begrudging attitude to inviting a new person.

Tsukishima and Yamaguchi soon walked into the gym, both of them stopping in their tracks as they locked eyes with you. Yamaguchi was practically bouncing on his feet before running up to you and engulfing you in a hug that nearly sent you both falling. Tsukishima wasn't as openly excited about it but a smile did grow on his usually down turned lips as he walked up to you and Yamaguchi, ruffling your hair a bit.

"You haven't gotten any taller." Tsukishima states, not rudely bit just an observation. Hinata was laughing at Yamaguchi while Kageyama just grunted in slight annoyance. Daichi chuckled to Sugawara before walking up to the three of you.

"I'm guessing I don't need to introduce you three, huh?" Daichi jokes, his voice low and amused. It was kinda cute how close the three of you already were.
