You and Jasper.. were friends, to say the least. You knew of her past and her past actions between everyone, and like everyone else, hoped she would better herself and change. You got to properly know her, and knew there was someone deep under that mess of... well, her issues. You both shared similar issues. You both worked under Pink Diamond formerly, then the whole "shattering" thing happened- it was a mess. You only met many many years later at little homeworld. And.. you got along with her. She got along with you. You could almost see progress of healing under that mess of herself. You even tried getting her to apologize to Lapis, and while Lapis didn't fully or forgive Jasper yet, she still appreciated the apology. Progress! Now, today. Little homeworld prom just before graduation. You wanting to bring Jasper with you, as your 'date'. She was.. very reluctant. Of course she would be. But you drug her along with you. You both were on the dance floor to the left, chatting as the lights gently flowed through the outdoor prom area. You kept being goofy and making jokes to keep her happy.. Jasper seems to drift out as you continue. This was okay. She didn't need to serve anyone, she just needed to work on herself and fixing her past.. and, she had you. Jasper smiles softly, a faint orange hue taking her face. Which didn't go unnoticed by you.
