You and Dazai were almost out of Mersault. You thought you had killed Fyodor, but suddenly, as you entered the elevator, it turned out Fyodor and Chuuya survived, and the elevator dropped.

In a panic, Dazai had no idea what to do and quickly kicked you through the doors of the elevator, as you land safely on the ground, leaving Dazai to fall down the many stories in the elevator.
