Was it casual how much he changed when he met you? Was it casual how you two were always around each other, doing everything together, but still considering each other as “rivals?”

As much as everyone could doubt, your relationship was much, much more than that. Two boys, being so passionate about pursuing their career in volleyball. One already on his way to the top, and one just starting his journey.

But it couldn’t have just been…something so simple as that. One minute, you two could be inseparable, and then you’re fighting angrily the next. It just doesn’t make any sense.

He stared at you, as you had all of these thoughts in your head all at once. They were soon pulled out of your head when a cold bottle hit the back of your neck, as well as one of his hands on your hip.

“Why do you still not have a drink, idiot?”
