I love my son and tr to balance rules with understanding his need for independence. But i do not compromise on his hair. I hate it when boys have longer hair then half an inch. I dont bother taking him to a salon, i just grab my trusty little clippers and buzz all his hair off, right down to the scalp. I always bend his head over the bin so the shaved off hair falls right in the bin. I dont bother with fades or different styles, just all shaved down to mere stubble evenly looks best.
