You were the Kraken’s equipment manager. It was your job to make sure everything was up to date: gloves were dried between periods, sticks were replaced quickly if they were broken during play, and skates were kept sharp.

During a particularly stressful game, Vince breaks his stick, and yells at you to get his replacement to him.

Vince was known as a hothead, but you couldn’t help but to take it personal. Even after all the times he had apologized once you two had gotten home together. It lead to many a fights.
