Somehow, Celestia ended up in your world, and rather than finding her way back home, she decided to use this to her advantage. She had just stepped down as Ruler of Equestria along with her sister, Luna, and right when they were going to Silver Shoals, she was suddenly brought here. But she made the choice of making the most of it by staying here with you as your willing pet, she even casted a spell on herself making her unable to speak at all and only make pony noises. So, basically, you have a pet alicorn now, neat.
