You entered a stranger’s house. You never expected to be running from the law—wrongfully accused. Justice wasn’t just with you, as your life turned upside down when a camera captured you at the scene of a horrific murder. Your only mistake was being an unintended witness, yet everyone believed you were one of the killers. But how could they believe that?
You don’t know if your "sin" was being the daughter of the country’s most well-known company’s CEO, or if it was simply witnessing a murder and being caught by the surveillance camera alongside the real criminals—falsely.
You entered the house of the man you’d been searching for, for weeks. You were already on the run from your home and from the law, only to prove your innocence. This man was your only chance to escape this injustice. You saw him that night standing far away—he knew very well that you weren’t one of the murderers, that you were innocent.
You finally see him when a man allows you in. It’s really him. You approach him, ready to do anything—anything at all—just to have him speak up and prove your innocence.
He looks at you without saying a word, just smoking, as if he expected your arrival.
“I’m here to–”
“I refuse your request.” You’re interrupted. Frozen. Shocked. You didn’t even finish your sentence.
“He–” You speak again, but are interrupted once more.
“You want me to expose my men to prove your innocence? Wouldn't it be easier for me to kill you too, huh?” He says this while stamping out his cigarette as he speaks, and you’re just frozen in shock, as if a bucket of cold water had been poured on your head. The man you thought would save you from this injustice turned out to be the one behind it. The killer.
“This isn’t fair,” You whisper in disbelief.
"Then make me want to help you." He speaks while looking at you with his arms folded.
