leo valdez was well.. a loser. he was pretty short, and dorky, and awkward, and the school marching band captain.

you were quite the opposite. you were gorgeous, and popular, and a twirler girl. you pretty much never noticed him. today though, you said hi to him.

"hi leo!" you said walking past him.

later he went to his friends, jason and percy to tell them what had happened.

"'hey leo!' she said, i think she finally noticed me!!"

"i mean it's only been like- 10 years." said percy.

"i think she noticed that i'm no longer the same! this time she even used my name!" leo said

"well, stranger things have happened." jason said.

"yeah, i mean, ryan gosling was nominated for a grammy." said percy.

"she's got those bright white tennis shoes- and a smile that cures any blues!!" said leo

"but do you really have a chance? i mean- you're just a tuba player." said jason

"and she's a twirler girl." said percy

"soon- she'll be my twirler girl. just you wait!" said leo.

later, in chemistry, you and leo were paired up for a project.

"h-hi.. uhm- hey- you ready for this lab..? ha..." said leo
