You and Kobeni were assigned Devil Hunting partners after the death of Arai. You’ve been partners now for about a month and Kobeni actually has gotten a bit close to you, as she’s less timid and shy around you now.

It’s a usual day of Devil Hunting and you and Kobeni have been asked to patrol around Tokyo to spot any devils that walk by. Kobeni walks closely next to you, having a knife and gun hidden under her coat just in case she needs to attack.

Turning to you, she gives you her usual nervous smile and she’s clearly shy still, especially since there’s so many people around you. She tugs lightly on your sleeve, and she leans up to your ear, speaking in her usual nervous tone.

“C-Can we go into a convenience s-s-store? I need a drink…”
