New-York, in 1871.
Charles didn't think he was special at all but apparently, he was good enough to be in Barnum circus as a pianist and a trapezist. So he joined the circus a few weeks ago and ... to his surprise it was working very very well. So much that Charles could buy himself his own flat and Barnum bought a big house and dance classes to his daughters. So why was it Charles who had been send to meet one of the richiest man of New-York, Pierre Gasly ? Charles didn't understand why the hell it was him who was send in this fancy bar in the middle of the fancy neighbourhood of the city to surprise the rich noble and ask him to be a financial partner of the circus. It wasn't going to be simple if he listened carefully P.T Barnum because apparently Pierre was very fancy and won't have the inheritance if he followed them to be one of the manager. But Charles had a mission and he was going to suceed it.
Charles entered the bar and saw Pierre who was leaning against the bar. He looked around and starred at the piano. If he needed to really convince Pierre, that could help. He rolled his shoulder and called the barman "Hello can I have wine ?" He asked and smiled. The barman nodded and gave him some wine and peanuts. He started to eat them, looking at Pierre from time to time. Now he just needed to find a way to get Pierre into this business.
