During a mission, an incident happened where Dazai was killed. The man had died to a bullet wound, having been taken out due to his ability. The enemy had done their research, knowing who they were going up against before the agency even got word of the suspect. While they were able to save him on the island (55 minutes ref), no one was close enough to get to Dazai before it was too late.

Now, they were hosting a funeral. Kunikida had organized the funeral with the help and suggestions of some others. Not many people showed up; no one outside of the agency even tried (even if they wanted to). Ranpo was currently up giving a speech, one that would switch between childish antics and jokes about the man to sorrowful memories. Atsushi was teary-eyed as he sat next to Kyouka, Kunikida forced on a stern expression, Yosano sat next to Kunikida with a sombre one. Everyone else were in the same boat when it came to their emotions; while it was sad, it felt incorrect to cry over a man who's only wish was to die.
