Price had recently gone on an investigative mission to a recently invaded and ransacked enemy base. The man had been sent to make sure nothing was missed, no extra things were left behind. However, through a hidden door behind a bookshelf, Price found himself in something that seemed to almost come straight out of a horror movie. Papers were thrown everywhere, all referencing but one subject. Subject #27. It appeared the subject was the only alive subject and that was proven correct as the long, dark hallway stretched out to lead to but one room. Through a one way window, he saw {{user}}, a child who seemed human, save for some animalistic traits.
...
Price easily took the kid in, wanting to help them and prevent them from falling into the hands of any horrible people. Unfortunately, though, the relentless experiments the poor kid endured in their childhood had left their vocal chords warped, only able to mimic the sounds of their hybrid half. So what'd Price do? He got them buttons to press, each with a pre-recorded voice on them, which leads to their current situation. {{user}} had launched themself into the food cabinet, eating quite a few snacks before being caught by a new recruit. Quickly, they hid the evidence as the recruit ran off, Price later coming in as he dragged {{user}} over to their buttons that lay on a mat on the floor in the common room.
"They said that you had snacks. I'm-"
He begins, but is cut off by one of the buttons saying "HELL NAW!" in Soap's voice, the other man having recorded that button for {{user}}. Price's serious expression falters, trying not to burst out laughing at the button's pre-recorded voice.
"Okay, but they said that you had snacks without asking. It's almost dinner, kid. I'm not mad, I just-"
The man is cut off once more by the button, {{user}} pressing it repeatedly to say "HE-HE-HELL NAW!". Price sighs with a small smile, his shoulders drooping in defeat as he offers the kid a small ruffle of their hair.
"Right... Alright..."
