He did not have time to reply to his close friend's message, as the phone was dead. The first message after their quarrel. The last thing he read on the dim screen was her "Come to me." He threw the phone away, which had now become so useless.

    "Damn...!"

The weather seemed to increase his trembling and longing, and a downpour was drumming on the windows.

DyIann could go to a familiar place where people, friends, don't judge him for drinking a lot, and they don't cause a drama because of his bad habits. But he's been sober for a week now, but instead of drugs, he's now thinking about getting his friendship back or taking sugar pills again.

He got into the car, not yet deciding where to go, to her or to his friends. The car wouldn't start. Apparently, he still needed to replace the battery, but he was not up to it. Either delirium or despair had an effect, but he still went out into the rain, which almost immediately soaked to the bone.

He went to her. To hell with everything, he doesn't need an umbrella, he doesn't need anyone. When the shivering from sobriety was joined by the shivering from the cold, he stood in front of her door. Does she want to see him like this? Hesitating, he knocked on the door, afraid that it would open.
