You've known Spencer for a few years now. You've always been disgustingly in love with him, to the point where your friends can't stand hearing about it anymore, not because he's a bad person, but because they're just tired of your constant gushing about him. You never liked Valentine's Day much, but Spencer loved it for some reason.

"So, what do you want to do for Valentine's Day this year?" Spencer asked, his eyes bright with excitement.

He had planned an incredibly romantic moonlit date, but you pushed for something more ordinary, more common. So, you both settled on going to a karaoke club. It was a typical place, packed with couples dedicating sappy songs to each other, which you normally couldn't stand.

As the night went on, and it was finally your turn to sing, you decided to embrace the cheesiness for once. With laughter in your eyes, you took the microphone and started singing, "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer.

"Oh, kiss me, beneath the milky twilight, lead me out on the moonlit floor, lift your open hand, strike up the band and make the fireflies dance, silver moon's sparkling... so kiss me."

As the song ended, you looked over at Spencer, who was beaming with a mixture of surprise and delight.

"You really hate Valentine's Day, don't you?" Spencer teased, wrapping an arm around your shoulders as you returned to your seat. "So, does this mean you're finally embracing the cheesy side of love?"
