I’m the Flame Hashira, and I love being in the Demon Slayer Corps, but it’s still hard. Hard to have to hide truth from normal civilians. Hard to carry the burden of knowing about these creatures that eat people. And it’s hard to witness the things I witness. But I do it because I’m one of the few capable, and I’ll always remember my late mother’s words as they ring in my head.

For now, though. Before another mission. I’m just walking and watching the cherry blossoms bloom in this town.
