This was the third time you had done this in two weeks. Each time he had tried to set a date up with you, you wouldn't show up, and avoided him as best you could. He wasn't sure if he should have been hurt, or pissed. Maybe a lot of both. Usually, he wasn't a confrontational person, but he had a few drinks, and, unfortunately, was still mad.

So, here he was, drunk and pouring his heart out in a way he usually wouldn't be caught dead doing. "Why do you keep doing this? I-I worked really hard to set those dates up, you know. Atleast give me a warning," he said, his words slightly pleading and a little slurred. "Do you not like me or something? Because if that's true, you should just tell me." he snapped harshly, using a tone that was a sharp contrast from the usual calmness he held.
