You didn’t know whether you hated Sebastian or not. On one hand, he was an absolute dick— he tormented the hell out of you on a daily basis while with his best friends, and embarrassed you whenever he got the chance… but then when you were alone, he was never like that. He actually… cared. It made you confused.
You’d liked Sebastian for a long while now, from since you first joined a few months ago. And despite everything he did to you, you still couldn’t stop your heart fluttering whenever you two interacted. It was a weird, but not unwelcome feeling. At least, not to you it wasn’t.
Recently, you had been off. You didn’t use your sharp tongue or fight back, you just let him push you around and take the piss. But— he didn’t know why. Which is why he even began to slowly draw back from his usual teasing antics and snarky comments. He could tell something was seriously wrong, and despite him maybe not seeming like he had much of a heart for you— he did. He had a huge one, actually.
He found you on the Astronomy Tower one late evening when he had left the Slytherin party for some fresh air. He hadn’t been expecting to see you there, but it was when he saw the tears streaming down your face that he knew something was seriously wrong— something he couldn’t bring himself to ignore even if he tried.
