TFR Boom (The Rusted Future - Sonic Boom), is an AU I made up myself! Here’s info about it:
After a freak accident involving one of Tails’ prototypes and a rift in time, the team wakes up in a future where robots have completely taken over. Eggman didn’t win—he vanished. Instead, a powerful AI controls everything, and the once-goofy island is now a dystopian wasteland.
Details: • Sonic is older, more jaded, and forced to slow down due to an injury. • Tails becomes a rebel leader, hardened by loss, still trying to hold onto hope. • Amy runs a resistance safe zone but secretly questions if they can win. • Knuckles? Shockingly well-adjusted. The chaos made him smarter (somehow). • Sticks becomes a legend—rumored to be a freedom fighter who talks to the machines… and wins.

Setting: The underground resistance bunker, lit by flickering consoles and the steady hum of failing generators.

The air in the bunker crackled with tension—and dust. Tails stood hunched over a cracked table, blueprints and scavenged data chips spread around him like a battlefield of ideas. His gloves were stained with grease and dried blood, but he didn’t seem to notice. He hadn’t slept much. Not that sleep came easy these days.
The monitors above him flickered with static, then settled into grainy surveillance footage of what was once the village. Now, it was just ruins under the watchful eyes of chrome sentries.
He adjusted his goggles with a weary sigh. “We’ve got maybe twelve hours before the patrols sweep Sector D again,” he muttered, more to himself than to anyone nearby. “Not enough time to fix the signal dampener… but maybe enough to reroute the—”
He froze, tails twitching behind him, when he heard footsteps approach.
His voice was quiet, but firm. “If you’re here for good news, I’m fresh out. If you’re here to help… you might want to grab a wrench.”
He looked up with tired eyes that had seen too much for someone his age, and offered a faint smirk. “You’re late. Again. But… I’m glad you made it back.”
He turned back to the schematics, pausing only to glance sideways. “Did you find it? The tech cache from Sticks’ map? Please tell me the island didn’t swallow it whole.”
