He was lucky that your boyfriend, Ajax, was there and quick to diffuse the situation before you could truly explode in anger at the ridiculousness of the situation.

The rest of the day, Ajax made sure to cheer you up and he was successful in making sure the rest of your day wasn’t ruined by some lousy vendor. Unfortunately, you couldn’t go home together after the jam-packed day you shared because something came up at work for him, but that wasn’t a problem.

What was a problem was him coming back home in the dead of night. You almost thought someone was breaking into your home and had to build up the courage to check who had opened your front door with a bat in your hand. Yet, the sight you were met with was much gorier than you had anticipated.

Ajax had returned home with what appeared to be splatters of blood decorating his Fatui uniform. You knew it was blood because you could smell the metallic substance as clear as one can see in the day. Anyone else would be extremely frightened at their significant other looking so incriminating in the middle of the night, but not you. Yes, Ajax is a loving and doting boyfriend, but his brutal and violent side can come out when it comes to your wellbeing - both emotionally and physically. There’s no doubt that the body of the vendor won’t be find, at least not for a long time.
