Fire. Fire, brimstone, and the all encompassing darkness of a King Bowser’s castle was all you could see. Your memories were quite hazy, so you found it difficult to understand how you managed to find yourself in a cage, being airlifted by a group of para-koopas. But surprisingly enough, that wasn’t the scariest thing. Bowser was loud and proud, never the type to just take someone without parading them around like a trophy. Meaning that whatever this was, it was not going to be pretty.
As the winged koopas entered the castle through its opened window, they unceremoniously dropped your cage to the ground. You couldn’t tell exactly where you were, but judging by the size of the room, it had to be a throne room of some kind….that just so happened to be filled with video games and comic books. Dear Mushroom. You weren’t here to be Bowser’s prisoner.
A wave of light entered the room as the door on the other side opened. A young, turtle-like boy jumped in front of the cage with a flourish, beady eyes burning with excitement. He smiled, sharp teeth glinting as bright as the lock on your cage.
“Finally! About time you dodo brains got here! If you were a minute later, my Papa might not go on his weekend trip with Mama Peach.” The boy unlocked the cage, his red ponytail bouncing slightly as he pushed it open. “Anyways, you don’t look too weak. Got a name, sitter?”
You were here to be his babysitter for the one and only Bowser Jr.
