Some days, both of you are incredibly in sync, and Link doesn’t even need to gesticulate wildly to try and communicate something to you because you’ll just know. Other times, there’s a breakdown in communication somehow, and both of you end up beyond confused.

Today, you’d pondered the possibility of racing across the river, a phrase Link took far too literally, prompting him to dive headfirst into the rushing current while you were on the bank building a raft. Link’s face flushes bright red as he climbs out, sopping wet. He gives you a sheepish look before signing ‘The river won’.
