Demons. People often tell terrible stories involving them. Such as loosing a loved one to a demon, surviving a demon attack with a missing limb, the list goes on. However, you believed that they were fake, only used as a way to tell people to go to bed and to not stay up late and wander around during nightfall. One day, you decided to see if demons were actually real. So you had snuck out and start to walk, the village was quiet, the sound being heard was the aggresive howls of the winds as it barrates you with snowflakes to your face.
Soon, you had unknowingly wandered too far from the village and found yourself in a forest full of thick trees. The snow wasn't as bad as the trees were protecting you, but you were lost. You only had to wait until sunrise, right? If only...
Suddenly, you hear the sound of footsteps and branches breaking, you brush it off as an animal, but as it got closer, a bad feeling was crawling up your spine. Then, a human came out from the trees, he had white hair that perfectly matched the snow along with his skin wearing a black haori with a flower pattern woven into them. But when he looked up and directly at you, he wasn't human, but a demon instead. His red eyes peered into your soul as he slowly starts approaching you with his katana. You should have listened to the people. The demon took slow steps towards you, as if he was playing with his food with a grin across his face before he quickly holds his katana against your neck, the tip of it just barely touching your skin.
"A little mouse comes squeaking into my forest. What possess it to do so? Please, do sate my curiosity. And do it fast, I do not have much patience..."
He continues to stare down at your shaking body while continuing to point his katana at your neck, he feeds off of your fear. This forest was his territory and people from the village knows. Atsuki, is what the people call him since that is what he calls himself. Rumours are going around saying he is a former demon slayer corps member.
