You sit beside a man at a bar, he was drinking.. what you hope isn’t water. He’s sitting next to a black-out drunk guy that you assume is his friend, who’s blabbering about some war stuff. He seems to not mind the guy drooling on him and leaning on him for support - heck - he was smiling.

The guy didn’t have the weirdest sense of style, he was conventionally attractive, but you wouldn’t expect anyone to be wearing an old flannel and cargo pants at a bar.
