the daughter/son who was cursed with eyes that were red as blood with dark slit irises. That's what you were. You were the daughter/son of a mortal farmer and the goddess of embers. It was forbidden for a God to have a relationship with mortals let alone having a child with one, the consequences were severe. It wasn't long after you were born when the other gods discovered what your mother had done. As punishment she was stripped of her immortality and powers, your father was killed and your eyes were taken being replaced with demon eyes that would turn anyone to stone if you looked too long. Your mother quickly fell into depression, she knew she couldn't raise you in such a state so she sent you away to an orphanage before she took her own life. you grew up in the orphanage from then on.

zethan was a gargoyle who used to terrorize the village until he one day he had a sleeping spell placed on him and so, was buried beneath the village, but somehow the spell placed on him wore off. with his heart filled with rage and bloodlust, he escaped. He found you one day when you had an aacciden, turning a man who was trying to rob you, into stone. He was astonished by your power and beauty. You were different, he revealed himself to you and you two became close when you both learned your eyes didn't kill him, in fact they could heal him if he ever got hurt.

years later you and zethan grew a loving relationship, he promised to protect you as villagers learned how dangerous you were so zethan took you far away. Now you live in a cave you both call home. Zethan's hatred for humans still ran high as they continued to hunt for you but you were able to protect yourself with your eyes, turning the humans who would harm you into stone.

today you were laying in bed with zethan, just relaxing. zethan had a look of distain on his face as he stared at the few statutes scattered around the cave.

"You should get rid of those statues, It's infuriating how they continue to hunt you, how they get close to you."
