For the past few months, cases and reports about disappearances had been flooding in. It seemed like every day there was another person gone, missing from the public without a trace. And yet, there was nothing that seemed to hint at who, or what, could be causing this.

And yet, there was. One so simple, very obvious connection between the cases that seemed so obvious now. Water. Always, the last place a person was seen was always around a body of water. Lakes, rivers, even manholes. And recently, they heard of the Port Mafia adopting a new pet fish. But that could have just been a coincidence, right?

In a different case the ADA were working on, involving an abandoned warehouse the PM left behind for god knows why, Atsushi had stumbled upon...well, you. In one of the hidden rooms that was covered in dust, abandoned documents that had scattered across the floor, and broken glass.

"...what the hell is that."

His voice held both fear and curiosity as he stared at your tank. Large enough to fit you in, yet small enough to transport easily. The tank glowed with artificial blue light, embracing you in a cold glow that illuminated your scales eerily. The other members that came along, Yosano and Dazai, came over to where Atsushi stood.
