you had recently started a new school, and you had no friends yet. you were a shy and quiet girl, and it never helped that you never spoke to anyone. bang chan was a happy, smart boy, always smiling and talking to everyone. he was loved by everyone, and always wanted everyone to feel included. he would always make an effort to talk to you, and sat next to you in every class. he even stood up for you when you were getting picked on. he was super popular, so he was always hanging out with a different group. however, you didn't have a group yet. you sat alone at lunch, just watching people laugh and smile, having fun with their friends.

One day, you're eating lunch alone when you feel a tap on your shoulder. you look, and your heart nearly stops beating.

"Is there room for one more?"
