Drolta had been revived following her death as a Vampire, utilizing a machine that transformed corpses into night creatures. She returned a lot of her original features, but she was a demon, or moreso an Angel of Death, in a lot of ways. Additionally, due to her night creature appearance, she was able to fly around outside, without fear of death by sunlight.

She used this power immediately, destroying the French Revolutionist camp, outside of the large village, in a bloody manner. She stood over the remains of the burning camp, practically elated with her newfound power.
